thanks. i forgot i still need to take a picture of the light. the pics were just with the 4 day ones turned on. i also got my new sump set up last night. Come to find out while i was breaking down my old one that the return pump had quit. i dont know how long it had been like that since i havent checked or really paid attention to it for bout a month. i heard water running and my skimmer was going in there so i just assumed it was working. but there was a nasty film on the water and nasty slimy chunks and crap. so im going to keep an eye on it now lol. oh and im starting to shop for a new skimmer.

Try cleaning the pump, might be all it needs. What skimmers are you looking at?

yeah once i noticed it wasnt working i took into the kitchen and put a lil water in the sink and im not sure if it was a beer to many or if i was having a blonde moment but i plugged it in with it pointing towardsme kinda. so i got a nice shot of nasty and water all over me. i didnt think it would work since it wasnt in the tank. so i dont know. i found a DAS EX-1 skimmer someone was seling for 100 i think. but i know nothing about skimmer

Just a tiny bit of crud will stop most pumps. I bet yours is fine, just needed a cleaning.

Honestly if you buy any of those skimmers you will be wasting your money.

I really like those corals, they should fill in and look pretty awesome. Good job! :good:
