Postby goodwin9 » Sat Jan 03, 2009 8:56 pm

I thought that I would share a few pictures from my little Ricordea tank I set up several months ago. The dimensions of the tank are 36X24X12.

Very cool tank. a friend of mine - jnarowe showed me your tank before and i was speechless.

It is good to finally meet you on RAF which i'm always looking forward, welcome.

Just wondering, do you have any powerhead or you just use return pumps for your circulation. mind to share your flow rate?

Cheers,
Adrian

I second Amasun, Jnarowe has been showing your tank to some of us and MAN it is just impressive.

Care to share with us a little more on it? I am interested in the flow as well and just how many do you guestimate are in there?

I didn't know Jonathan was showing my tanks. He thinks that I am crazy.

I don't use any power heads in this tank. The ricordeas don't need a lot of flow and to some degree, a lot of light. I have the return pump throttled back so I really don't know the flow rate. Just enough to keep water movement in the tank without blowing the ricordeas all over the place.

I think that there are about 200 ricordeas in the tank right now. Originally I had planned to put them in some of my larger displays, but was having trouble keeping them attached to rocks and disapearing on me. So I picked up this little tank and decided to keep it exclusive for ricordeas.
